Strong partners, new impetus

Innovations for tomorrow’s logistics are being developed in today’s networks right now: Fraunhofer IML is integrated in and creates its own networks where scientists can get involved in developments which are in the interests of both logistics and logistics companies. The Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 are clearly becoming more and more important.

As a member of the Fraunhofer Group for Production, Fraunhofer IML is a contributor to the key project E3.

The agenda includes sharing knowledge as well as best and next practices at strategic and operative levels. International cooperation is becoming more and more important here. New technologies, new services and new business models can only be established if they are though out on a global scale and tested at an international level.
